This seminar explains how a UK organisation should account for VAT on its transactions with overseas customers & suppliers and the the new rules which apply from 01 January 2010.
Objectives:
It will demonstrate how to account correctly for VAT on the acquisition and dispatch of goods & related services between member states of the European Union, and on the import & export of goods from & to Non-EU Countries. The seminar also addresses place of supply, VAT liability and the reverse charge & rules for reclaiming input tax in the other 26 countries of the EU, illustrating the rules by using practical examples.
